Virtual Tour

The University of Virginia Virtual Tour was funded by the Jefferson Trust, an initiative of the UVA Alumni Association that strives to enhance the UVA community by providing support for student initiatives at UVA. In 2016, members of the University Guide Service applied for and were awarded a Jefferson Trust grant that allowed us to hire YouVisit to produce the virtual tour and fly our guides to their studio to film the tour itself. In keeping with UVA’s emphasis on student self-governance, every aspect of the creation of the virtual tour was student-led; undergraduate members of the University Guide Service wrote the script for the tour, coordinated the filming, and continue to maintain and update the tour to this day. We would like to thank the Jefferson Trust for all their support in making this initiative into a reality, and we hope the virtual tour will help you to get a better feel for the many facets of the UVA student experience!
